Squib strength 2 - disk

These disk-shaped models are primarily used for bullet holes, e.g. for costume and skin bullet holes, wood bullet holes, car sheet metal bullet holes, etc.. The explosive force is more widely dispersed here than with cylindrical models.

Squibs are available (regardless of the design) in various charge strengths. The strength is given in "Grain". (English unit of measurement, 1 grain corresponds to approx. 0.065 grams) The charge strength can be determined on the basis of the color coding of the protective lacquer.

"SQUIBS", also known as "micro-detonators" or "bullet hits", consist of an electric detonator surrounded by a capsule of pressed primary explosive. They are mainly used to represent bullet hits, but also for technical applications, model explosion effects and as a primer charge for plastic explosives (e.g. detonating cords).
